Es tut sich etwas in der Branche
IG Index/ IG MarketsZITAT
IG Index is introducing a browser-based mobile service on March 21 that will allow clients to access its PureDeal spread betting platform via the Apple iPhone and other web-friendly devices. “It makes full use of the iPhone features,” says CEO Tim Howkins. “One click to get into it, and the screen can be rotated from portrait to landscape.”
CMC MarketsZITAT
CMC Markets is also upgrading its mobile trading service to allow BlackBerry users to place trades.
Price charts will also be added to CMC’s existing mobile service. At present, this provides a mini version of the desktop front-end, operating in real-time, with low latency (the delay between information being sent and received). It includes the core functionality of the online platform: pricing, order placement, and “blotters” that summarise orders.
City IndexZITAT
City Index is shortly to relaunch its mobile trading services – across its City Index global spread betting and CFD brand and its Finspreads UK-only spread betting brand.
Clients will be able to see live prices, place orders, and monitor the performance of open positions or user-defined watch lists, via mobile phones, PDAs and BlackBerries. Finspreads’ service will go live next month, with the City Index service launching in May.
ODL MarketsZITAT
ODL Securities says it will launch mobile services in the future. For now, it is helping new clients manage their exposure when away from their desks by becoming the first firm to offer free guaranteed stop-losses.
