Die BaFin hat am Freitag, dem 24. April 2009, die Staatsanwaltschaft München gebeten, strafrechtliche Ermittlungen gegen Unbekannt aufzunehmen. Eine streng vertrauliche Aufstellung der BaFin über Vermögenswerte einzelner Banken sei an die Öffentlichkeit gelangt. Das stelle möglicherweise einen Verstoß gegen die Verschwiegenheitspflicht nach § 9 des Kreditwesengesetzes dar, teilte die BaFin zur Begründung mit.
