"Opera Unite"

Opera Unite soll das alte Client-Server-Modell ablösen - jeder Computer kann zum Server werden. Dazu haben die Entwickler einen Webserver in ihren Browser integriert, der das Bereitstellen von eigenen Inhalten besonders leicht machen soll - "so leicht wie das Surfen im Internet."

 

Für Anwender besteht aber nicht mehr die Notwendigkeit, einen Webserver zu konfigurieren und eventuell die Firewall und die Network Address Translation im DSL-Router anzupassen: Opera Unite funktioniert über einen Proxy, bei dem sich der lokale Webbrowser anmeldet, um Unite-Dienste bereitzustellen.

 

Fazit: Mit Opera Unite wird der Browser zum Server, um einfach und direkt Inhalte und Dateien auszutauschen.
