Die BaFin will im Interesse der Versicherungsnehmer höchstrichterlich prüfen lassen, ob private Krankenversicherer von Tarifwechslern tatsächlich höhere Beiträge als von Neukunden verlangen dürfen. Das teilte die Behörde am Donnerstag in Bonn mit. Sie habe darum gegen ein entsprechendes Urteil Revision eingelegt, welches das Verwaltungsgericht (VG) Frankfurt/Main im Juli zu Gunsten eines privaten Krankenversicherungsunternehmens gefällt hat. Die Entscheidung liege nun beim Bundesverwaltungsgericht in Leipzig.
