Pure-Grain ist weder ein klassischer Synthesizer mit dem man fette analoge Sounds erstellen kann noch ein Sampleplayer der authentisch wirkende Instrumente wiedergibt. Vielmehr wurde hier darauf gesetzt neue Sounds, die noch nicht schon durch alle Musikproduktions Styles geeiert wurden, zu erstellen.
