Am Samstag ist der große Tag beim Breeders' Cup auf den Churchill Downs in Kentucky. Spitzenrennen reiht sich an Spitzenrennen, Klassepferde treten an, wobei europäische Siege in der Mile durch Goldikova und im Turf durch z.B. Sarafina und Midday eingeplant sind. Höhepunkt ist der mit fünf Millionen US Dollar dotierte „Breeders' Cup Classic". Los geht es um 18.20 Uhr mit dem „Breeders' Cup Marathon".
