In der Gruppe G treffen in einem K.O.-Spiel der ehemalige Champions League-Sieger FC Porto und Zenit St. Petersburg aufeinander (6.12.11, 20:45 als Live-Wette bei Betfair). Der portugiesische Meister muss die Begegnung gewinnen, um am ehemaligen UEFA Cup-Sieger in der Tabelle vorbeizuziehen und sich für die nächste Runde zu qualifizieren.
