Die englische Premier League kommt nicht zur Ruhe. In den anderen Ländern genießen die Profis ihre Winterruhe, auf der Insel wird jedoch weitergespielt. Mittlerweile geht es in die 18. Runde. Unter anderem spielen Stoke City und Wigan Athletic gegeneinander (Samstag, 31.12.11, 16:00 Uhr als Live-Wette bei Betfair). Stoke spielt bis jetzt eine sehr gute Saison und ist im oberen Mittelfeld der Tabelle zu finden. Wigan dagegen kämpft bereits gegen den Abstieg.
