Die Finanzaufsicht BaFin warnt vor Angeboten von Xeventy bzw. Xe7enty. Es besteht der Verdacht, dass deren unbekannte Betreiber auf der Website xeventy.net ohne Erlaubnis Finanz- und Wertpapierdienstleistungen sowie Zahlungsdienste anbieten. Im Rahmen eines Initial Coin Offerings (ICO) wird ein XeventyCoin (XVT) genannter ERC-20-Token zum entgeltlichen Erwerb angeboten. XVT soll - nach Errichtung einer digitalen Plattform - gegen Finanz- und Wertpapierdienstleistungen sowie Zahlungsdienste eingetauscht werden können.
