Nach Informationen, die der Finanzaufsicht BaFin vorliegen, wenden sich Unbekannte, die sich als Mitarbeiter der Union Investment Privatfonds GmbH ausgeben, in WhatsApp-Gruppen und Chats an Anlegerinnen und Anleger. Die Gruppen werden von einem angeblichen Peter Müller, „Senior Investment Analyst bei Union Investment“, geleitet. Es besteht keinerlei Zusammenhang mit einem Unternehmen der Union Investment Gruppe oder mit deren Mitarbeitern. Es handelt sich um einen Identitätsmissbrauch.
