Nach Informationen, die der Finanzaufsicht BaFin vorliegen, wendet sich die Venus Investment Alliance in WhatsApp-Gruppen und Chats an deutsche Anlegerinnen und Anleger. Das amerikanische Unternehmen bietet in Kooperation mit dem Unternehmen Gimcoinese auch über die Website gimcoinese.com sowie über die App GimCN ohne Erlaubnis Finanz- und Wertpapierdienstleistungen an. Beide Unternehmen werden nicht von der BaFin beaufsichtigt. Bei den Initiatoren – Anna Schulz, Prof. Michael Schmidt und Philipp Hopf – handelt es sich um Fake-Identitäten.
