CriptoniteCore WhatsApp groups and app: BaFin warns consumers about case of identity theft

According to information available to the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin), unknown persons purporting to work for the Swiss company Criptonite Asset Management SA are using WhatsApp groups and chats to contact investors. These groups are purportedly operated by someone called “Florian Rais” and his assistant “Kathleen Burkhalter”. This is a case of identity fraud against the Swiss company. The initiators of such WhatsApp groups are not supervised by BaFin.
