Candriam Europa: BaFin warns against identity fraud in WhatsApp groups

The Federal Financial Supervisory Authority BaFin warns against WhatsApp groups and chats, which are allegedly operated by the company Candriam Europa and led by Marius Schnider and his assistant Amelie Kaiser. BaFin is not aware of the existence of these persons. According to information available to BaFin, recommendations for the purchase of financial instruments and cryptocurrencies, which can allegedly be traded via app, are offered in various WhatsApp groups and chats. The offers do not originate from Candriam German Branch or from any other company of the Candriam group or their employees. This is a case of identity fraud. The unknown operators are providing financial, investment and crypto-asset services without the required authorisation.
