Bayshore Kapitalverwaltung GmbH: BaFin warns against identity fraud in WhatsApp groups and the associated apps “BayGo” and “BayGoPro”

The German Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) warns against the WhatsApp groups “VIP-Kundenbetreuung Nr. (…)“ and „Aktienclub Nr. (…)“, which are operated by the alleged Bayshore Kapitalverwaltung GmbH. In the WhatsApp groups consumers are enticed to trade financial products via the apps „BayGo“ and „BayGoPro“. It is suspected that the unknown operators are offering banking and financial services without the required authorisation. According to the information available to BaFin, the offers do not originate from the US-based company Bayshore Global Management. It is a case of identity fraud.
