Finspreads: Improvements to website and trading platform

Over the weekend of 12-13 April 2008 we will make a number of enhancements to the Finspreads website and trading platform.

Improved navigation, dealing screens, research, and price transparency

To make spread betting with us even easier and give you quicker access to the information you need we are updating our website and improving the dealing screens and research provided in our trading platform.

We are also introducing continuously streaming prices within the deal ticket, and firm prices up to Our Size, to ensure absolute price transparency. For each spread betting market that we trade Our Size is the maximum size in which we are prepared to deal at out quoted prices, offering execution certainty for deals within this size.

Market naming and margining terms

At the same time, we will make some changes to our market names and to our margining terms.

A number of the indices we trade will change their names - for example, the FTSE 100 will be renamed the UK 100. These name changes do not affect the characteristics of the products, we are simply standardising the names we use to describe them.

Our margining terms will also change slightly and you can find full details in the new Spread Betting margining terms document. These changes are being made to simplify our terms and you will not need to take any action - any open positions can be closed as normal.
