GL Trade, a multi-asset solutions provider, has launched a front office foreign exchange (FX) trading solution for spot FX. It has also announced connectivity to four FX electronic communications networks (ECNs).
GL Trade now connects to Baxter-FX, FXCM Pro, Hotspot FXi and FXMarketSpace. Clients can now access real-time spot FX prices through the firm’s workstations or application programming interfaces.
The company says it has enhanced its workstations to suit the particular needs of FX trading, intends to connect to additional FX ECNs and will continue to enhance the functionality of its FX trading windows.
“The decision to provide FX connectivity is part of GL Trade’s strategy to become the leading multi-asset solutions provider by giving clients the ability to trade equities, derivatives, commodities and now spot FX from a single desktop,” said Vincent Burzynski, group products and marketing manager, GL Trade, in a statement. “We look forward to working with our ECN partners to provide our clients with access to some of the world’s leading FX liquidity pools,” he adds.
