CFD Product Update

New Index Tracker and Lower Spread

Saxo Bank is delighted to inform you that from Thursday 17 April, we have lowered the spread for the Spanish Index Tracker IBEX35 (Saxo symbol: IBEX35.I). The spread for retail clients was lowered from 15 to 10 index points.

Furthermore, we have expanded our CFD offering with the German MDAX® Index Tracker. The MDAX® index tracker is an index for mid-sized companies and is based on the 50 Prime Standard shares that rank immediately below the companies included in the DAX® 30 index on Xetra.

New CFD Instruments / More Short CFDs

During March and April we have further expanded our CFD offering on single stocks by adding a substantial number of new CFDs. In addition, we have also expanded the CFDs available for shorting. As an example, we have expanded our Swiss short CFDs from 20 to over 100. Other markets include Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Holland and Belgium. We will continue to expand our offering in the current quarter. A full CFD instrument list is available on SaxoTrader by selecting the Trading Conditions option from the Account menu.

CFD Product Update

As of 1 May 2008, the Spanish Stock Exchange (SIBE) will be increasing the monthly Exchange Subscription Fee for non-professional and professional investors (Level 1 and Level 2). Please see the updates below:

Market Depth (Level 2): EUR 34.00 (instead of EUR 30)

As of 1 July 2008, the SWX Swiss & Europe Exchange (SWX & VX) will be decreasing the monthly Exchange Subscription Fee for non-professional and professional investors (Level 1). The updates can be seen below:
