Saxo Bank übernimmt Stockbroker Sirius

 

The online trading and investment specialist, Saxo Bank, has acquired Danish wealth management firm Sirius.

 

Saxo, who specialise in derivative trading but also provide portfolio management through their trading platform, were keen to expand their business model and increase their private wealth positions.

 

Sirius – an independent stockbroker specialising in investment clients with a portfolio in excess of 10 billion Danish kroner (£1.2m) – had built up a management portfolio of £610 million since its inception in 2006.
