IG Group Holdings said Wednesday that it will acquire 87.5% of FXOnline Japan KK, a privately owned Japanese online retail FX trading company, for 21.9 billion yen ($207 million), or 112.2 million pounds. IG will also acquire a call option to buy the remaining 12.5% of the firm. IG said that it will issue up to 32.97 million shares to raise 82.2 million pounds to finance part of the deal. It said the deal is expected to enhance earnings in the current financial year.
