Das Auf und Ab des Dax

An den internationalen Finanzmärkten ist der Dax, der deutsche Aktienindex, in dem die 30 gewichtigsten deutschen Aktien zusammengefasst sind, nicht mehr wegzudenken. Er startete am 1. Juli 1988 mit 1000 Punkten und stand am Abend des ersten Handelstages bei 1163 Punkten. In den folgenden Jahren überwand das Börsenbarometer immer neue Tausender-Marken, musste aber auch kräftige Tiefschläge hinnehmen. boerse.ARD.de markiert in dieser Grafik markante Punkte in der Entwicklung des Dax und erklärt, warum es zu diesen Aufs und Abs gekommen ist.
