Due to the continued major liquidity issues in all financial markets it has become essential for Alpari UK to temporarily widen our spread in EURCHF to 5 pips during the UK night time between 10pm and 7am BST, starting Monday 4th May. This is an attempt to replicate the widened spreads that we are currently receiving from our liquidity providers and to prevent us from continued requotes to our clients because we cannot hedge our exposure. The new spread will be fixed during normal market conditions only, but can be widened during data releases, news announcements and other highly volatile periods.
We will endeavor to get back to our normal tight spreads as soon as possible.
