http://www.rimdex.com/

Found this by accident on my fly tthrough the net

I've never heard anything about that project.

just curious - especially ==>this

RIMDEX is the event market for global industry- a new source of insight, entertainment and business intelligence. It works something like a stock market, but instead of trading in companies, you trade in the likelihood of certain events occurring in your sector – price movements, changes in supply/demand balances, the timing of legislation, mergers and acquisitions, etc.

You don’t have to be a financial wizard to play the RIMDEX event market; you just use your judgment to forecast events in your own sector. It costs nothing, and it’s risk free – you trade with virtual dollars only. Successful traders can exchange their virtual dollars for prizes, and perhaps earn a place on their sector’s Leader Board.

Also, to be clear, RIMDEX is not a part of Tradesports. We are using the Tradesports software for testing and Alpha purposes. RIMDEX is based in London and Washington, DC.
