For years IG Group has offered spread betting and CFDs simultaneously under two brands: IG Index and IG Markets respectively. To better reflect that these products are offered by the same group, we have decided to bring both together under one brand, IG. This will, in time, allow IG to offer both products through one login, an increased convenience for our 300,000 clients.
From today, both IG Index (spread betting) and IG Markets (CFDs) will use the trading name “IG”. A new logo has been designed to incorporate this change and to better reflect our professional and progressive approach to retail dealing.
Please continue to log in at igindex.co.uk/login for now. The current IG Index web address (igindex.co.uk), email and telephone details will also stay the same.
NO IMPACT ON DEALING FUNCTIONALITY
These changes are also reflected across the presentation of our websites, apps and trading platform but will not affect the functionality of your dealing or the terms and conditions of your account. There will be no interruption to your dealing.
FUTURE IMPROVEMENTS
You can expect to see further improvements both to design and functionality over the next twelve months. This autumn our insight, news and analysis centre launches on our iPhone and Android apps, as well as on the iPad.
