Hi, aus mir nicht bekannten und nicht nachvollziehbaren Gründen kann ich IB mit TWS nicht mit Excel über DDE verbinden.

 

Das entsprechende Tool hab ich installiert, in TWS hab ich DDE aktiviert.

 

Es kommt immer die Meldung, dass ddedll.dll fehlt.

 

 

Kann jemand (der IB mit Excel nutzt) mir bitte diese Datei geben und sagen wo die reinkommt?

Ich habe die Lösung in einem chinesischen Forum gefunden, es tritt nur bei x64 - Betriebssystemen auf.

This issue has seem to only affect customers running a 64-bit Operating System. The below solution was tested and our customers are reporting that this fix works:

 

1) uninstall TWS, Java and the API Components

2) installing Java 32 bit & reinstall TWS

3) Confirm where the javaw.exe file is installed.

(It should be something like C:\Windows\SysWOW64\javaw.exe)

3) right-click the TWS desktop shortcut, select Properties and go to the Shortcut tab and in the Target point the path for javaw.exe to where it is installed"

It should read:

C:\Windows\System32\javaw.exe -cp jts.jar;pluginsupport.jar;hsqldb.jar;jcommon-1.0.12.jar;jfreechart-1.0.9.jar;jhall.jar;other.jar;riskfeed......

Change it to:

C:\Windows\SysWOW64\javaw.exe -cp jts.jar;pluginsupport.jar;hsqldb.jar;jcommon-1.0.12.jar;jfreechart-1.0.9.jar;jhall.jar;other.jar;riskfeed......

4) install the API Components

5) Log back into TWS and you should not get the error "Ddedll.dll file is missing our out of date..."

To install TWS DDE Excel API you download and install "InstallAX.exe". After taking some long hard knocks I finally figured out that "InstallAX.exe" by default installed TwsDde.xls in c:\ jts, for the Stand Alone version. But, that will not work for the online TWS, c:\IBjts , which I use.

 

The install does give one a choice to select a different directory. NOTE to IB -- there is no reason to expect the average beginner be aware of the different roles c:\ jts and c:\IBjts play in the scheme of things. A lot of our time and tech support's load could be relieved by not leaving logical holes in techno-detail.

 

The Online version works with c:\IBjts

The Stand Alone version works with c:\jts

Hier gibt es noch einen Userguide zur TWS - allerdings habe ich da auf die Schnelle auch nichts Verwertbares zu gefunden.

Danke whipsaw , das hatte ich schon probiert. Problem ist "nur", dass die TWS auf eine 32bit Java-Version pointed, die nicht auf (m)einem 64 Bit - System vorhanden ist. Mit der Lösung im #2 klappt es aber

Update:

Offensichtlich benötigt man eine neue Office Version (mind. Ver. 2010) und muss noch den reinen API-Schnittstellenpunkt von der IB-Seite herunterladen + installieren.
