Der Service Adobe Photoshop Express wird sich vermutlich rasent schnell zu einem Konkurrenten von Flickr, Picasa oder Photobucket entwickeln. Derzeit wird das virtuelle Photo-Desk (offiziell) nur in den USA angeboten. Yep, jeweils + 2 Punkte Spread gg. den Standard FSB's. Bisschen gewöhnungsbedürftig ist die Trennung zwischen Buy- und Sell-Kontrakten. Und natürlich die fehlende Möglichkeit Stops zu setzen ;-)

Das dachte ich auch anfangs, sozusagen als Binary mit Risikopuffer, für den eine Prämie als Markup gezahlt werden muss.

Bungee Bets The Bungee is a unique limited risk bet that stays 'alive' even when your safety level is breached, giving you the chance to bounce back into profit. Our built-in 'Floor' or 'Ceiling' ensures that the price will not exceed the stated level, however far the underlying market may move. Bungee bets let you capture favourable price movements in volatile daily markets but with a strictly limited downside. You know that your bet cannot settle at any worse than our Floor or Ceiling level, whatever happens to the underlying market. And because your position remains open even if the underlying market is currently through your safety level, you can still make a profit if the market comes back later in the day. How do Bungee bets work? Every Bungee bet has a built-in Floor or Ceiling level, beyond which the Bungee price cannot move. This means that a Bungee Bet is a strictly limited risk proposition. The Floor or Ceiling of a Bungee works very much like a Stop level, as it ensures that you cannot lose more than a given amount on your position. But there is one key difference: if the underlying market breaches the Floor or Ceiling level, your Bungee position stays open. So if the underlying market swings back to your favour later in the day you can still make a profit. Ohne etwas heraufbeschwören zu wollen, glaube ich, dass uns dieser Luxus nur so lange gewährt wird, wie wir unscheinbar am Rande der Top-Foren existieren. Wenn ein Forum die Größe eines AB oder w:o erreicht hat, ist es kaum möglich, eine Community sicher durch alle, aus dem Wachstum resultierenden Herausforderungen, zu navigieren. Unter der Masse leidet die Qualität und auf Dauer die Netiquette. Leider!

Saxo Bank Outperforms the FX Industry Saxo Bank has won recognition as the fastest growing FX Bank of the year at the annual Euromoney FX awards. The award, for the US$100-250 billion a year client segment, was presented last night at finance magazine Euromoney's annual FX market awards dinner in London. Founder and Co-CEO of Saxo Bank, Kim Fournais, attended the ceremony and said the award highlighted the bank's strong performance over the course of the year. "It's great to win an award for being the fastest growing FX Bank in the fastest growing industry. Saxo Bank is growing fast with profits soaring 78% in 2007. However, this is the first time we have received recognition of that growth" says Fournais. "This prize is very important to us, because it shows that we have the right product offering, at the right time and is evidence of the fact that our strategy and hard work is bearing fruit." In addition to the prize, Saxo Bank moves to 23rd place in the overall Global Market Share Ranking. JPMorgan, Lehman Brothers and Dresdner Kleinwort also posted strong gains with Deutsche Bank once again taking out the title as the largest FX bank by volume. Despite a year that was marked by the global credit crises and systemic banking problems, the global FX market continued to grow throughout 2007 with turnover increasing by US$50 trillion, from US$125 trillion in 2006 to US$175 trillion in 2007. The award comes off the back of Saxo Bank's recently announcement that it has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Tricom Holdings Limited with a view to acquiring a 35 percent holding in the Sydney-based brokerage. Fournais adds that Tricom's current expansion into New Zealand, Hong Kong and China is a perfect match with Saxo Bank's long-term objectives, to help clients achieve their financial goals, via offering first class prices, service and dependable human support, at close hand. Wenn es der Aufklärung dient, ist dagegen nichts einzuwenden. Im Gegenteil, es ist sogar wünschenswert das solche Informationen möglichst schnell Zugang zu den Tradern finden. Ob dabei ein Weblog unbedingt das passende Medium für den aktiven Gedankenaustausch ist, weiß ich nicht. Ich finde die Interaktion zwischen den einzelnen Diskussionsteilnehmern ist ein wichtiger Bestandteil der Meinungsbildung. Die Möglichkeiten die Wordpress hier bietet sind m.E. nach sehr limitiert.
